76% Of Enterprises See AI Returns. Only 6% Have The Data To Scale Them.
The Common Question
How many companies actually have their data ready for enterprise AI scale?
The Lesson in This Case
Just 6% of enterprises say their data is ready to run AI at full scale, even as 76% now report measurable returns from it, according to Dun & Bradstreet's survey of 10,000 businesses across 32 countries. Most of that ROI is still narrow: 48% see it only in isolated pilots, while 28% report broad returns spanning multiple projects. A third of companies (34%) have moved AI into production, but the survey pins the ceiling on data readiness, with 47% calling their data only partially prepared and D&B's data chief warning that adoption has outrun the infrastructure meant to support it.
